We here at the Nishikigoi Centre believe that Koi should be seen and enjoyed not hidden under murky green water. This is why we think no pond should be with at least a UV Clarifier if not a UV Sterilizers.
We recommend the TMC range of UV Clarifiers because it is both affordable and reliable.

Clarifiers

A come misconception about Clarifiers is that they kill the algea this is not true instead they disrupts their internal structure causing them to clump together or 'flocculate'. These clumps can then be trapped and broken down by the filter.

Sterilizers

UV-Sterilizers kill 99% of floating algae as well as other living organisms, that include bad bacteria and some viruses. They do not harm the beneficial bacteria that grow in filters and on rocks, etc. in the pond as they only kill organisms that are floating in the pond and pass through the UV.
