Pond Safety System

The Safeguard Pond CoverSystem is available to have installed above or below water, there are advantages to both, however both are safe.

The advantage to having the Pond Safety Guard fitted under the water surface is that it is practically invisible (see left).

When having a Pond Safety Guard fitted above the water it is clearly more visible, but would never require cleaning (see bottom right).

Pond Safety Grid

We find that many of our customers utilise the pond guard for a variety of purposes. e.g. hanging plants from the Pond Safety grid, slotting small planting pots into the diamond sections of  the Pond Safety grid with the same effect as a marginal shelf. Many people also attach pond lights to the Pond Safety grid which bring an extra dimension to the pond.

Wild Life...

Lots of people are concerned that the Pond Safety system might cause any problem with wildlife like frogs etc, this is completely not the case, due to the design it poses no risk to animal or plant, in fact frogs seem to prefer ponds with the Pond Saftey System as it provides that with a “climbing frame” allowing them easy access in and out the pond, and also lots of frogs to use it to sit on to sun themselves instead of the traditional lily pad.  So in many ways help promote the natural ecosystem.

Herons...

Herons is a word that can bring fear to any Koi keepers heart, there is nothing worse that seeing a heron fly off with your prize winning Koi, fortunately not only does it protect people  and animals from drowning it also protects the inhabitants of the pond from herons.  Due to it’s diamond grid pattern, it prevents the herons from spearing down at a diagonal angle. We are often asked to install the DimonDeck system as a heron guard and has proved very effective and from customer feed-back has proven that our pond safety system has a 100% success rate of stopping herons catching your fish.
